Minecraft Better Foliage mod, the 3D leaf & grass overhaul

Better Foliage is the visual mod that finally makes Minecraft trees and grass look like trees and grass. Instead of vanilla's flat sprite-textured leaf blocks, every leaf block renders as branching 3D foliage tufts that sit on the block surface. Grass blocks grow tufts of grass, sand grows sparse dune grass, and water surfaces get algae mats. The effect is subtle up close and transformative from a distance, forests look forested rather than cubic.

On Fabric, LambdaBetterGrass and Continuity together are the modern equivalent, and are the ones bundled in the Better Minecraft modpack. On Forge, the classic Better Foliage mod is still maintained and does the same job.

The mod is a pure visual layer, no world regeneration required, no impact on save data or multiplayer.
